The Seventh Asian General Equilibrium Theory Workshop (GETA2010) is organized by the Institute  of Mathematics in cooperation with the Department of Mathematics of Hanoi National University of Education, Department of  Economics of the Foreign Trade University, Development and Policies Research Center (DEPOCEN).

The Asian Workshop on General Equilibrium Theory (GETA) allows participants to present and be informed of the  latest developments in general equilibrium theory and its applications in other areas of economics, such as financial markets,  decision theory, game theory, economics of information,  contract theory, microeconomic theory, public economic theory, theory of finance, networks, macroeconomic and monetary theory, mathematical  economics. An important subtopic of the workshop is Optimization.

The workshop will take place at the Institute of Mathematics of Vietnam.

The workshop encourages young researchers to participate and to present their work.  After PET 2006, GETA 2010 Hanoi is the second meeting related to Economic Theory organized in Vietnam with the participation of many economists coming from universities and scientific research centers around the world. Jean-Marc Bonnisseau (University of Paris1, Paris School of Economics) and Takashi Kamihigashi (Kobe University) will be Keynote-speakers of GETA 2010.

CALL FOR PAPERS:

An abstract not exceeding 2 pages should be submitted to

annguyen depocen org

before June 10 , 2010. Abstracts will be made available to all  delegates as symposium material. Complete papers may also be submitted but are not necessary.

The message, whose subject should be GETA2010 submission, should contain the following information:
– The name, affiliation, and the contact email address(es) of the person
who wish to present the paper.
-The title of the paper

Please mention explicitly in your submission one or two of the following areas:

Public Economic Theory
Financial Markets
Economics of Information
Game Theory
Decision Theory
Contract Theory
Microeconomic Theory
Theory of Finance
Macroeconomic and Monetary Theory
Mathematical Economics
Optimization

All submitted proposals will be examined by the scientific committee and a decision will be communicated to submitters in early July 2010. (We will in fact notify individual contributors as soon as possible.)

The submission deadline is JUNE 10, 2010.
